It is extremely difficult to obtain funding for complementary therapy research.

TRUST US, WE HAVE TRIED!

Our goal is to reach 50,000 donations of only $10 Australian each. Even less if you pay in Pounds, Euro or US dollars.

Your not-for-profit donation will go into important research projects, that will help integrate into maternity systems worldwide.

Cost effective management of pregnancy and post-partum conditions and preparation for labour – an RCT of needling by registered midwives.
The outcomes and experiences of pre-birth and labour activation acupuncture and acuneedling treatments for first-time mothers.
Acuneedling for posterior position during labour and birth in a tertiary hospital.
RCT for women experiencing Small for Gestational Age (SGA) and Intrauterine Growth Restriction (IUGR).
An RCT examining the effects of Acuneedling for common conditions of pregnancy such as oedema, anaemia, constipation and heart burn.
Managing gestational diabetes with acuneedling treatments to reduce the need for insulin.
Managing pregnancy induced hypertension to reduce the chance of pre-eclampsia.

We especially want to fund outreach programs; training midwives in developing countries to use complementary therapies.
