Acuneedling™ is a premier online education provider offering Acuneedling for Midwives and Acustimulation for Birth Workers courses. We are also a research hub increasing evidence to inform practice.
Our courses are designed and led by experts in the field of acupuncture and childbirth. We are passionate about helping birth workers learn the latest evidence-based techniques.
Our aim is to empower midwives and birth workers to provide safe and effective complementary therapy care to birthing mothers and fill a gap when acupuncturists are not available.
To also provide a comprehensive hub of resources and evidence to best support evidence-based practice for health practitioners.
Check out our crowdfunding page where we are raising not-for-profit funds for complementary therapy research in pregnancy and childbirth. The worldwide goal is to reach 50,000 donations of only $10 per family.
Please help if you can!
Funding will go toward a universal complementary therapy guideline for maternity services and outreach Acuneedling courses in developing countries.
Plus further research for nausea and vomiting, anxiety, pre-birth treatment, labour activation, pain management, posterior position, breech, and novel research into midwifery-led Acuneedling and conditions such as pregnancy induced hypertension, low amniotic fluid, small for gestational age, heartburn, gestational diabetes and many more.
